What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Accepted Answer

Abigail only plays for one event a day, so she can be flexible to accommodate timing changes if given reasonable notice.

Can you play a song that isn't on your set list?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Abigail is happy to learn new songs, though not every song works on the violin. Send the song you have in mind, ideally with a YouTube link, and she will check whether it can be arranged.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, Abigail holds Public Liability Insurance with the Musicians' Union.

What is the best way to get in touch?

Accepted Answer

Abigail is not always able to answer phone calls, so email, WhatsApp or text are the best ways to reach her. She aims to respond within 48 hours.

Can we have a consultation before booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Abigail offers a complimentary Zoom call, which is useful as she can play live for you during it. In person consultations are also available depending on location.

Question 7

Do you travel outside Kent?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Abigail drives to most events and can travel by train with her equipment for events such as those in central London. For events outside the South East, please get in touch for a quote.

Question 8

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Abigail brings her own PA system, a small amp or wireless speaker, and has a choice of two acoustic violins as well as an electric violin.
